This two-part presentation charts human evolution from Australopithicus afarensis in Africa through homo habilis, the emergence of the Neanderthals in Ice Age Europe to the coming of homo sapiens. Part one visits Australopithicus, Paranthropus boisei and Homo habilis goups. The second section studies Homo ergaster, a hominid species known in its Asian home as Homo erectus, as well as Homo heidelbergensis, Neanderthals, and Homo sapiens.
