Power to the People - speaks with both Chinese people and government officials about how the Communist Party rules the land. 2. Women of the Country - Chinese women have had one of the highest suicide rates in the world. This episode looks at efforts by Chinese women to control their lives and their futures. 3. Shifitng Nature - describes the environmental issues that rapid industrialization has brought. Water shortages, pollution problems and the Three Gorges Dam are noted. 4.
