Filmmaker Loni Ding artfully explores the history of Asian immigration to America in this three part series. Political and cultural discrimination faced by Chinese immigrants to California are highlighted in this second program. The 1854 People vs. Hall decision by the California State Supreme Court, the Page Law and use of the name " China Mary " for several women are explored.
