Cafe owner Rene Artois tries to keep his wife, his mistresses, the French Resistance and the German Army safely satisfied in this British comedy series set in occupied France during World War II. Each episode approximately 29 minutes. On this disc: 58. The Airmen De-Nicked - René, Edith, Madame Fanny, Leclerc and the Resistance use disguised intelligence to rescue the airmen, but end up handcuffed together and stranded in the countryside. 59. The Crooked Fences - Fence painting takes on new meaning as Herr Flick demands the Fallen Madonna painting and the German officers demand that René sell it to a fence and give them the money. 60. Crabtree’s Podgeon Pist - the marriage of Ernest and Fanny Leclerc is complicated by a plot by Von Klinkerhoffen to blow up the town and by the bride and groom falling asleep during the ceremony. 61. Rising to the Occasion - Von Klinkerhoffen’s breakdown may thwart his plan to blow up Nouvion, though that will still not get the British airmen home.
