Cafe owner Rene Artois tries to keep his wife, his mistresses, the French Resistance and the German Army safely satisfied in this British comedy series set in occupied France during World War II. Flight to Geneva - René decides to run off to Geneva with Yvette but it is all aboard as Edith, Mimi, Helga, Gruber, Von Storhm and a Swedish art expert end up on the same train. 49. Train of Events - the Cafe crowd gets into almost as much trouble on the Geneva Express as they do back in Nouvion with switched paintings and gold bars. 50. An Enigma Variation - René must steal gold, paintings and an Enigma coding machine from the chateau. 51. Wedding Bloss - Renewing the vows creates problems for Edith and René when the officiating deputy mayor turns out to be Monsieur Alphonse. 52. Down the Drain - Michelle brings the Enigma machine to the Cafe and a big flush is planned to wash it down the sewers to a waiting submarine. 53. All in Disgeese - Enigma’s end is almost René’s as well, as British Intelligence officers, disguised as policemen, come for the machine - though René will be shot if it is not returned.
