Cafe owner Rene Artois tries to keep his wife, his mistresses, the French Resistance and the German Army safely satisfied in this British comedy series set in occupied France during World War II. Each episode approximately 25 minutes. On this disc: 41. René hides the money stolen from the bank from both the communists in the cupboard and from the Gestapo. 42. A Duck for Launch - forged francs and fishsellers complicate Renés life as the stolen bank money turns out to be bogus and Herr Flick goes undercover as a fishmonger to recover it. 43. The Exploding Bedpan - Various plots are launched to stop Monsiuer Alphonse, in hospital with a heart attack, from talking about the phoney francs. 44. Going Like a Bomb - Michelle proposes the worst scheme yet to return the airmen to Britain and a man with feathers in his hat trys to return the fake francs to René. 45. Money to Burn - when Madame Fanny bakes a potato the fake franks burn up, and with Leclerc against the wall, scheduled for execution, the plane carrying the fake land mines to be exchanged for him runs late. 46. Puddings Can Go Off - a thousand pounds of explosives, disguised as Christmas puddings, are delivered to Café René. 47. Landmines for London - Explosive situations are averted at Cafe Rene, but attempts to get the the British airmen away in emptied land mines go wrong.
