Cafe owner Rene Artois tries to keep his wife, his mistresses, the French Resistance and the German Army safely satisfied in this British comedy series set in occupied France during World War II. The Confusion of the Generals - a German generals conference about the British invasion at Renés cafe is invaded by disguised British airmen. 39. Whos for the Vatican - René, Mimi, Flick and Helga all create a parade of prams, attempting to sneak into Communist Resistance headquarters to steal the paintings. 40, Ribbing the Bonk - to pay off the Communists, who hold René, Mimi, the Germans and part of the Italian army, Michelle suggests a bank job.
