Cafe owner Rene Artois tries to keep his wife, his mistresses, the French Resistance and the German Army safely satisfied in this British comedy series set in occupied France during World War II. Each episode approximately 25 minutes. On this disc: 35. The Arrival of the Homing Duck - René escapes the Communists as the Germans plot to attack them, to recover the paintings. Meanwhile René must photograph the secret plans for the invasion of Britain and send them off by long distance du ck. 36. Watch the Birdie - René wears a camera under a flip-up apron to photograph the secret plans, Bertorelli shoots the long distance duck, Flick gets Helga an all leather wedding dress and the general’s conference breaks up when they all eat mints which make them foam at the mouth. 37. René - Under an Assumed Nose - Michelle’s secret love turns out to be René, who has vowed to quit the Resistance. René’s disguise as a French general nearly blows up in his face; his fake nose is made of plastic explosi ve. 38. The Confusion of the Generals - a German generals’ conference about the British invasion at René’s cafe is invaded by disguised British airmen. 39. Who’s for the Vatican - René, Mimi, Flick and Helga all create a parade of prams, attempting to sneak into Communist Resistance headquarters to steal the paintings. 40, Ribbing the Bonk - to pay off the Communists, who hold René, Mimi, the Germans and part of the Italian army, Michelle suggests a bank job.
