Cafe owner Rene Artois tries to keep his wife, his mistresses, the French Resistance and the German Army safely satisfied in this British comedy series set in occupied France during World War II. Each episode approximately 25 minutes. On this disc: 28. Desperate Doings in the Dungeon - the rescue of Frau Kinkenrotten - actually Herr Flick - is complicated by orders from the General that Flick is to die in the escape attempt. 29. The Camera in the Potato - rescued from the dungeon, René searches for secret plans in the chateau while the General dines at Café René. 30. Dinner with the General - criminal developments in this episode include rumors of a plot to blow up Hitler, Madame Edith confronting René about his infidelity and a haywire plot to blow up secret plans in the chateau. 31. The Dreadful Circular Saw - René and LeClerc blow up two valuable paintings instead of the secret plans and are captured by Communist Resistance fighters. 32. Otherwise Engaged - enter Denise, René’s former sweetheart and head of the Communist Resistance, who saves him from death at their hands but perhaps not from his wife Edith. Meanwhile the British airmen try to surrender to the Germans. 33. A Marriage of Inconvenience - Madame Edith hatches her own plots to keep René from marrying Denise. 34. No Hiding Place - post-matrimonial depression takes on new meaning when Denise vows to kill René for not marrying her.
