World politics, animated mecha warfare and Shinto mysticism combine in this Japanese anime series. In "On the Ancient Stage of Stone" mecha pilot Yushiro Gowa demonstrates the Japanese Special Self Defense Force’s Tactical Armor by performin g a Noh dance, causing gravitational anomalies. War erupts in Belgistan and United Nations forces are defeated by giant robots in "Opening Movements". Yushiro and other TA units are brought to Belgistan in "Tantric Circle".
