This HBO program visits children who have Tourette Syndrome, a neurological condition marked by repetitive, persistent and involuntary vocal and motor tics. Outbursts of socially inappropriate words or phrases, called coprolalia, also happens in a few ca ses. Young people describe what growing up with Tourette’s does - and does not - mean, how they control the disorder and how they are treated by society.
