Life among the British nobility in 1930s England is played for laughs in this comedy series, as bon vivant Bertie Wooster relies on his discreetly resourceful valet Jeeves to rescue him from romantic catastrophes. Based on the stories by P. G. Wodehouse. Jeeves deals with an unwelcome admirer in "The Delayed Arrival". Romantic entanglements lead to Berties impersonating an African tribal chief in "Trouble at Totleigh Towers". Safe from Madline Basset and Lady Florence Craye, Bertie relaxes - but Jeeves wisely does not - in "The Ties That Bind". Each episode approximately 50 minutes. Series stars Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie.
