Khöömei, or throat singing, is a vocal tradition by which a singer isolates two or more harmonics on the vocal cords - as if two or more people were singing. In this feature filmmakers Adrial and Roko Belic follow blind blues musician Paul Pena on his trip to Tuva in central Asia, to compete in a 1995 khoomei contest. Letterboxed; DVD includes optional English subtitles, extra concert fottage, commentary by filmmakers, weblinks.
