This series visits people and places along the golden coast of California, from Crescent City to San Diego. Located along San Francisco Bay in the Presidio, Crissy Field played an important role in aviation during the early 20th Century. Now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Crissy Field is being transformed from asphalt to marshes, beaches and fields.
