Rabbit in the Moon

Video Cassette - 85 minutes - Color - 1999

While researching their mother’s life, filmmaker Emiko Omori and writer Chizuko Omori came across a bit of family history no one spoke of - both they and their mother were among the thousands of Japanese Americans sent to relocation camps during Wor ld War II. The Omoris link their personal history to the larger Japanese American community in this memoir, exploring the deep emotional scars left by racism and the internment camps.
