Vietnamese American Quynh Nguyen works for meatpackers at a Farmer John plant; Sri Lankan American Karla Zombro, who is also openly gay, campaigns for Respect at LAX Living Wage and a labor contract with the Argenbright company, and Korean American Jun C hong organizes welfare recipients who are required to join workfare programs. This production introduces three Asian American women, daughters of immigrants who are also labor leaders in the Los Angeles area and advocates for social change.
