Long Tack Sam left his small village in China, overcoming poverty, racism, cultural and linguistic barriers to become an internationally renown acrobat and magician. Though his vaudeville act was extremely successful, he refused to appear in films, due t o the way Chinese people were portrayed. Filmmaker Ann Marie Fleming visiting with family, friends, acrobats and magicians around the world to illuminate the story of the magical, mystical, mysterious Long Tack Sam - her great-grandfather.
