This series looks at the lives of women in medieval Europe who served God in unique ways. An illiterate teenager in the village of Domremy in France, Joan of Arc became a warrior and national heroine before her execution. This production allows the Maid of Orleans to speak for herself through her letters, responses to the Inquisition and testimony at her rehabilitation trial.
