When things go wrong:
No image through the projector:
•Is the Console’s MAIN POWER SWITCH ON?
•Can you see a blue light coming from the projector? (If not, the projector is not on)
•Have you pressed the proper INPUT button on the white EXTRON BOX?
•If you are using the VCR/DVD player, press the VCR/DVD button in the middle of the player to switch between players.
•If you are using a computer, check that the VGA cable is connected to your laptop securely.
No Sound:
•Have you turned the volume up to at least two lights on the white EXTRON BOX?
•Have you pressed the proper INPUT button on the white EXTRON BOX?
•Is there audio on the tape?
•Is the volume up on your laptop?
The computer image is cut off on one side or jumping:
•Press the AUTO PC ADJ button on the Extron Box. It will take a moment.
•If that does not work, shut down and restart the LAPTOP.
Can’t log on to the internet:
•The ethernet cable may not be working. You may check one out from AV. Faculty must come to the AV Center to sign for the cable.
•Your computer is not configured properly to log on to the network. Call 81420 for assistance.
•The wall jack in the room may be down.
Call 81494 to have someone come out and check it. No quick fix available.
