How To Teach Hamlet to a Generation of Non-readers

Today, college students read for pleasure, on average, less than sevenminutes per week.  Professor Avery will present valuable techniques learned over his 15 years teaching Shakespeare at SF State to engage students in situations where complex text is read and analyzed. Discover how some of these techniques are derived from Shakespeare’s own Elizabethan theater practices.
