SF State Seattle Alumni aboard the Golden Bear for
Ahoy Gators! Join the SF State Alumni Association on the Cal Maritime’s 500-foot training ship Golden Bear as it sails into Seattle. This first of its kind facility, focused on testing ballast water management systems to international and United States Coast Guard standards, is open to alumni and guests for guided tours by Cal Maritime cadets. Visit the ship’s bridge, nav-lab, power lab, engine room, ballast waste water system, and experience first-hand what it's like to be in a real, onboard, floating, learning environment.
