On-Campus Summer Orientation Dates

Fall 2013 Admitted Freshmen

 

Orientation is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please be sure that you have completed ALL steps necessary in order to reserve a space for orientation.
Please note: since registration for classes occurs at orientation, the earlier you attend one, the better the chance of getting all the classes you want!

 

Please note: only those who have completed Early Start or who are exempt from Early Start may attend the June 3rd orientation session.

Note: The on-campus orientations begin with checking in at the Cesar Chavez Student Center lobby promptly at 8:15 a.m.

 

June Dates:

• Monday June 3 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - June 3rd is ONLY for students who have either completed the Early Start Program (by this date) or are exempt from ESP.

 

Note: Students who have to participate in the Early Start Program must have used the Early Start Smart Page before their orientation date.

• Saturday June 15 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• Monday June 17 - Check-in at 8:15 .am. - 4:00 p.m.
• Tuesday June 18 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
• Thursday June 20 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Friday June 21 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Saturday June 22 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Tuesday June 25 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Wednesday June 26 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

 

July Dates:

• Tuesday July 9 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday July 11 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday July 18 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Saturday July 20 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Wednesday July 24 - Check-in at 8:15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

August Date:

• One parent or family member can accompany each student.
• Students who do not check in at 8:15 a.m. will not be permitted to attend the orientation and will have to reschedule for another.
• Please pay your university tuition prior to your orientation date.  If you qualify for financial aid, be sure that you have this information on file. 
• Be certain that you are participating in the Early Start Program if your ELM and/or EPT scores require you to do so.
• If ELM/EPT exams are taken after the deadline (May 4th) then you will not be admissible for the fall term.

On-Campus Orientation Fees

The on-campus orientation costs $35 per student and $25 per guest. The fees include your orientation, advising materials and a meal.
