All About University Fees and Orientation Registration

New Student Fees

(Orientation Fees)

On campus

We charge $35 for students and $25 for guests to attend. This amount covers your meal, advising materials (Including a current Class Schedule) and facilities fees.

How to Pay?

Payment information for Orientation is included on the orientation confirmation letter once you have selected a date.

Financial Aid

Financial aid recipients still must pay orientation fees—It is not part of your award of financial aid.

SF State Tution

If you have a Financial Aid Deferment then you DO NOT have to pay tuition before your orientation date. Make sure you accept your financial aid award and register for at least 12 units at orientation.

The university fees for Spring 2015 will be posted on the Bursar's website. See the Bursar's web site for information on ways to pay university fees.

Students may register for classes at orientation and pay tuition at a later date.
