Paying your University Tuition

In order to register at Orientation for your Fall classes, you will need to either:

PAY University Tuition OR Have a financial aid deferrment on file. Use the SF State Portal to check if you have a financial aid deferrment. When you log in, select Services then select MyFinaid.

NOTE: Please refer to the Bursar's Office website for the official Fall 2011 tuition cost. Once they are posted, you may pay the University tuition.

Paying your tuition:

  1. Your University tuition pays not only for your classes but also other services like the Health Center fees, student ID card, Student Center fees, etc.
  2. You University tuition depends if you are a resident or California or a nonresident of California.
  3. The University Tuition cost may be subject to change pending the California State budget.

Your Admission status website will show TUITION STATUS: resident or nonresident. Select one:

My Admissions Letter says I am a RESIDENT of California.

I am a NON-nresident of California.
