All About University Fees and Orientation Registration
New Student Fees (Orientation Fees)
We charge $35 for students and $25 for guests to attend. This amount covers your meals, advising materials (Including a Spring 2009 Class Schedule) and facilities fees.
Please pay orientation fees within two weeks of your Orientation registration. Since Orientation dates are highly popular, it is possible to be dropped from an orientation for failure to pay.
How to pay?
We accept checks, payable to Orientation, 1600 Holloway Ave. San Francisco, CA 94132. Fee payments can be made with credit card only by web payment. See bursar's website to do so. Please note: when paying fees online, select “Additional Fees”, then “Orientation Fees”. Also, a 2.4% service fee will be charged.
Financial Aid
Financial aid recipients must pay orientation fees. It is not part of your award of financial aid.
ALL Students
Transfers who wish to receive an early evaluation of their transfer coursework at their orientation MUST - 1) pre-register for the date at least 2 weeks in advance, (2) immediately pay orientation fees and (3) have all official transcripts on file.
SF State Tution and University Fees
We call SFSU tuition "university fees". If you have a Financial Aid Deferment then you DO NOT have to pay university fees (tuition) in advance.
You may log into the MySFSU website and view your Spring 2010 registration information, starting in October.
Before you register for Spring 2010 classes at your orientation, you MUST pay university fees (tuition) first. Students should pay fees by the December 3rd deadline. Please, if you mail in payments, make sure to send it 5 business days prior to this date!
The university fees for Spring 2010 will be posted on the Bursar's website. See Yellow Box at the top of the page. Payments by credit card (MC, Discover, Amex) may be made on the web at the Bursar's site. See the Bursar's web site for information on ways to pay university fees. Register for Orientation now.
