All About Orientation Fees and University Tuition

 

 

New Student Orientation Fees

We charge $35 for students and $25 for guests to attend. This amount covers your meals, advising materials and facilities fees, as well as the Advisors and peer advisors from the Advising Center.

Southern California Orientation fees will be higher than the on campus fee, since we bring the entire orientation team to a Southern California location. Fees will be $75 per person, stuent or guest. 


Pay Orientation Fees On Time!

We can begin accepting payments for Orientation fees beginning April 1st.

All stduents who pay on time will guarantee their spot in our Orientation session. See confirmation page for deadline to pay orientation fees.

Transfers who wish to receive an early evaluation of their transfer coursework at their orientation MUST:

  1. pre-register for the date at least 2 weeks in advance,
  2. immediately pay orientation fees and
  3. have all official transcripts on file.

We can begin accepting payments for Tuition beginning April 14 .

Tuitoin for Fall 2012 must be paid in advance of orientation or at the latest the morning of orientation in order for students to register for Fall 2012 classs.

How to pay?

We accept checks, payable to SF State Bursar, 1600 Holloway Ave. San Francisco, CA 94132. Enclose the payment form from online orientation confirmation page.
Put SF State ID on the check.

Ater securing an orientation date online, orientation fee payments can be made with credit card ONLY by web payment. See bursar's website to do so. Please note: when paying Orientation fees online, select “Additional Fees”, then “Orientation Fees”. Also, a 2.5% convenience fee will be charged.

VISA IS NOT ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME!


Financial Aid

Financial aid recipients must pay orientation fees. It is not part of your award of financial aid award.
If you have a Financial Aid Deferment then you DO NOT have to pay university tuition in advance.


SF State University Tution

We can begin accepting payments for Tuition beginning April 14.

Tuition for Fall 2012 must be paid in advance of orientation or at the latest the morning of orientation in order for students to register for spring 2012 classs. See Bursar's website for amount of tuition for Fall 2012. 

If you have a Financial Aid Deferment then you DO NOT have to pay university tuition in advance.

You may log into the MySFSU website and view your Fall 2012 registration information, starting in late April - early May. 



Before you register for Fall 2012 classes at your orientation, you MUST pay university tuition first. We recommend students  pay tuition fees one week prior to their Orientation date.

The university tuition for Fall 2012 will be posted on the Bursar's website. Payments by credit card (MC, Discover, Amex) may be made on the web at our online payment site. See the Bursar's web site for information on ways to pay university tuition.
