January 2013
- Sign up for February or March ELM/EPT tests online, if required. Plan to test at your local CSU.
- Immediately pay for ELM/EPT tests online after registration.
- Use links given to practice for ELM/EPT.
- Check Admissions status, New Student Requirements status.
- Check SF Sate e-mail frequently for ELM/EPT testing reminders.
February 2013
- Use links given to practice for ELM/EPT.
- One week prior to test, watch for e-mail/mail test information.

March 2013
- Use links given to practice for ELM/EPT.
- One week prior to test, watch for e-mail/mail test voucher.
Arrive to your test site early! - View February ELM/ EPT results
- Accept Admission Offer (deadline is May 1, but if you really want SFSU, do it NOW!)
- Pay Admissions Deposit
- Create E-mail account for SF State
- Register for Orientation (your orientation date must be after you complete Early Start English and/or after you have enrolled in a math remedial class.

April 2013

- Register for Orientation
- View ELM/ EPT results for March test
May 2013
- May 1 deadline to Accept Admissions Offer
- May 4 last allowable ELM/EPT test for Fall 2013
- Check Admissions status, New Student Requirements status.
- April and May ELM/EPT tests scores will be on file.
- Go to Early Start page and register for Early Start Classes
- Check SF Sate e-mail for new messages.
- Tuition is due prior to orientation. Financial Aid students do not have to pre-pay tuition.
June 2013
- Freshmen orientations start. Early June orientations are only for ESP exempt who have a course in progress. You have to bring proof!
- Tuition is due prior to orientation. Financial Aid students do not have to pre-pay tuition.

- Check SF Sate e-mail for new messages.
July 2013
- Check Admissions status, New Student Requirements status.
- Check SF Sate e-mail for new messages.
- Freshmen orientations for students who have completed Early Start.
- Tuition is due prior to orientation. Financial Aid students do not have to pre-pay tuition.
- Final Official transcripts due on the 15th.
August 2013
- Move in to residence community Aug 22
- Welcome Days on August 23
- 1st day of instruction is August 26
