Membership Benefits

Members of the Alumni Association get the following benefits:
| Library Access | Library privileges at all 23 CSU campuses. Access to the libraries entitles you to: borrowing privileges; use of the listening and viewing stations in the Media Access Center, and use of online and CD-ROM databases while in the Library. Membership does not include remote access to those same databases, or an SFSU e-mail account. Your membership does not include access to the main student computer lab located on the ground floor. Members are free to use the general access and express workstations also on the ground floor. Please note: The library has embarked on a major expansion, seismic strengthening, and renovation of the its building. Scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2011, it will create a state-of-the-art facility for alumni association members.
During construction, collections and services will be available in alternative locations on campus. We will keep you apprised of other updates as the temporary relocations are completed and services move to temporary facilities. Please visit http://www.sfsu.edu/newlibrary for up-to-date information about relocation of library services and the Library project. In the meantime, please continue to visit the J. Paul Leonard Library for library services. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this important project. While we are mindful of the inconveniences the project will cause, it will ultimately provide the campus community with a seismically-strengthened, modern facility. In the interim, the University will make every effort to provide you with the services you need. |
