The Office of Campus Asset & Space Administration (CASA) at San Francisco State University is responsible to the CFO and Vice President for Administration & Finance. The mission of this office is to provide support, information and guidance to all campus units with issues related to space ensuring that the proper linkages are made between program and administrative areas. This includes, but is not limited to:
- providing connections between various user groups to ensure best utilization of space at main campus and off campus sites.
- providing support and advice on new planning for appropriate groups working with Capital Planning Design & Construction, the user group, contracted professional architects, etc.
- providing coordination assistance with user groups on construction or renovation projects.
- providing moving support for university offices or programs affected by campus mandated construction or emergencies requiring unscheduled move of offices or programs.
- providing recommendations on the expansion of leased space, coordination of lease agreements, working with the Director of Procurement and the University’s designated real estate professional on lease details.
- coordinating with Academic Affairs Office of Space Management.
- coordinating with designees in Vice Presidential areas on space issues.
