University-Wide Assessment Endeavors

This part of the self-study contains four chapters that present various components of university-wide assessment endeavors. Chapter 20 presents an overview of assessment throughout the university and describes university-wide assessment activities with particular emphasis on the past three years. Chapter 21 discusses academic program review and specialized accreditation and addresses the university’s increased emphasis on assessment and the modifications made in the program review guidelines in order to incorporate learning objectives and assessment outcomes more explicitly. Chapter 22 presents an analysis of all university-wide survey findings as they relate to the six thematic areas of the SFSU strategic plan. Chapter 23 describes the various assessment activities related to General Education and basic skills development.
