Vietnamese American Studies Center

The Vietnamese American Studies Center (VASC) began in Fall 1996 with three tenure-track positions dedicated specifically to developing the Center and a Vietnamese American curriculum. With this, AAS answered the community call to address the growing population of Vietnamese Americans. Conferences were held and VASC acquired the Hoang Lien Book Collection in 2003. Read the At 40 article about VASC written by Professors Mai-Nhung Le and Minh-Hoa Ta. For more information about VASC, contact Professor Le.
