Netscape Reloading Problems

The Netscape reloading problem?
  • Netscape does not always reload. To force the reload in Windows, hold down the Shift key and click the Reload button. To force the reload on a Mac, hold down the Option key and click the Reload button. Note: Browser settings may not take effect until you exit Netscape and restart Netscape.
  • Another reason files may not reload properly is caused by the browser settings. The default 'Check documents' setting for Netscape is to reload 'once per session'. If you are developing pages you should probably change this setting to 'every time'. Note: you must quit/exit Netscape before this change will take effect.
  • A last resort for persistent reload problems is to set your Disk and Memory Cache to 0 (no caching).
