Web Access Control
Restricts web access to a directory requiring visitors to enter a user name and password.

Using the online htaccess form, create a single user name/password used to access a restricted web directory. All students will have the same User name and Password.

  • The Title will appear in the username and password window (BICS 263-06 in this example).
  • User Name - The name that is entered in the password entry box
  • Password - The password that is entered in the password entry box
  • Directory - The name of the directory to be protected
