Leave the "Password" and "Directory" fields blank.
Note: You can enter your password if you would like Fetch to save your password. But for security reasons, we recommend you leave this field blank.
Click OK.
If you correctly entered all the information required in the previous steps, you should see a screen similar to the one below:

Departments, faculty, staff, and student Internet Accounts store most files in a directory called public_html.
To create a directory,

Note: Once you create the public_html directory, you will not need to create it again.
The current directory path is shown at the top of the Fetch window. You will need to change directory path if the files you want to upload or download are located in a different directory.
To move up the directory tree, click the down arrow button and select the correct directory or folder from the list.
To move down a directory tree, double-click on the directory you want to open.
Fetch can be used to transfer (upload/PUT) files and programs to your internet account.

The following window will appear. Select the file formats to use for the files selected.

Note: The format selected depends on the type of file and how you wish to use the files. We recommend using 'Text' for text or HTML pages, 'BinHex' for programs, and 'RawData' for image and sound files.
Fetch can also be used to transfer (download/GET) files and programs from other folder/directory hierarchies

The next time you use Fetch, select the shortcut you created (in this example, we would select 'Web Page') from the Shortcut drop down menu. Your personal connection settings, such as the "Host" and "User ID" will appear. Enter your password and clic k OK to connect.
