Visiting the Campus
SF State is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in the southwest corner of San Francisco,
just minutes away from downtown and the Pacific Ocean. Take a look at our campus map to get oriented.
The address of the main campus is 1600 Holloway Avenue, at 19th Avenue, near the Stonestown Galleria
Shopping Center and Lake Merced. SF State is easily accessible by
public transportation or private vehicle.
Keep in mind that parking lots fill early when the University is in session, so be sure to plan ahead.
When you arrive, stop by
Student Outreach Services on the first floor of the
Student Services building to
pick up a self-guided tour brochure or to ask admissions questions.
If you're looking for SF State souvenirs or need to purchase a printed copy of the SF State
Bulletin (catalog) or
Class Schedule, visit the SF State
Bookstore.
