Academic Resources and Registration
With the help of our Advising Center and other support services , we're doing our best to make
sure students do their best at SF State. All students should attend
New Student Orientation to learn
everything they need to know about such things as General Education,
individual majors, graduation
requirements, and more. Programs such as the
Educational Opportunity Program provide advising, tutoring,
and financial assistance for low-income and educationally disadvantaged students. With assistance from
faculty and staff who really care about each student's success, SF State provides a supportive academic environment
that can take students as far as they are willing to go.
When the time comes to sign up for courses, staff in the Registrar's Office is available to assist students.
Among the services handled at the Registrar's Office are
course registration, access to students' records,
ordering transcripts, checking grades, filing a change of address, applying for
graduation, and checking personal
class schedule. Most of these services are handled on the MySFSU Web site or in person at the
One Stop Student
Services Center in the Student Services Building.
