Many SF State students prefer to save money by living with their families and commuting to San Francisco State. The public transportation
options throughout the Bay Area make commuting easy -- even for students traveling sizeable distances. Several San Francisco
Muni streetcars and buses stop right at the campus's front door, and the Daly City BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station is
located near campus and linked to SF State by regular shuttle service.
