Take a tour of SF State
Our fun and informative walking tours are a great way for prospective students and their families to get to know our campus. Lasting less than an hour, the tour takes visitors to major buildings and facilities on the University's park-like campus, located in the southwest corner of San Francisco near Lake Merced.

Tours are led by SF State student guides who share their own experiences adjusting to university life and offer tips to help incoming students get the most out of their SF State education. Click for the current tour schedule, which changes daily.

Visitors with disabilities are encouraged to participate in tours. For assistance, please call the SF State Disability Programs and Resource Center, (415) 338-2522, at least two weeks before your visit.

Visitors who come to campus on days when tours are not offered are invited to take a self-guided tour. To have a self-guided tour map mailed or faxed to you, call (415) 338-2355 or e-mail outreach@sfsu.edu Monday through Friday. You may pick up a map in person Monday through Friday at Student Outreach Services. For group tours, contact Student Outreach Services at least two weeks in advance.

A model apartment at The Village at Centennial Square, SF State's on-campus apartment complex for upper-division and graduate students, is open Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings. Check in at the leasing office, Suite A106.
