Disability Services Students with
disabilities are encouraged to attend SF State. The Disability Programs and Resource Center
(DPRC) exists to
give students full access to the classroom and to
campus-related activities. The center provides a range of services so
students with disabilities may achieve personal autonomy at SF State.
Prospective students are encouraged to contact DPRC early in the
admissions process to receive assistance and information about
services. Students may be eligible for one or more services,
depending on the nature of their disabilities. Disability
verification must be provided when registering with DPRC.
Services
offered by DPRC include test accommodations, note-taking and
laboratory assistance, assistance with parking, shuttle services,
sign language interpreters, assistive listening devices, reader
services, and technology assistance.
