State is a leader in information technology. Having
recently renovated its entire technology infrastructure, SF State now has
400 upgraded
classrooms and two state-of-the-art "collaboratories" --
computer-mediated classrooms that enhance dialogue among students and
professors.
SF State has more than a dozen computing labs on campus. These include a
group study room with Internet access for laptop computers and a
24-hour computer
lab in the library.
SF State provides students with support, training, and
access to
University computing resources. All students receive a free
e-mail/Internet account.
Division of Information
Technology (DoIT)
offers free short courses and workshops throughout the
year to teach students
how to use computing systems, learn software, and create Web sites.
