Guided Campus Tours for a Future Student and his/her Family

The guided campus tour for a future student and his/her family is a free walking tour on pathways outside of buildings that takes approximately 1 hour. It is conducted by one of our trained tour guides who welcomes the opportunity to share their university experience as an undergraduate student. Click here for more details.

Guided Group Tours for Schools/Organizations/Community Groups

The group tours program is designed for schools, organizations and community groups interested in bringing a group of high school or community college transfer students (with chaperones) to San Francisco State University to learn more about what our university has to offer. Self-Guided Campus Tour: Printable Map (pdf)

Print a copy of the self-guided tour map (pdf) and bring with you to campus. The tour begins at the Student Services Building (number 1 on campus map), but feel free to start at any location you choose. Follow the numbered campus map and read the descriptions to learn about majors, services and special features of the campus.
