Crime Information Bulletin

On June 6, 1998, at 10:00 p.m. a woman walking alone on the pathway between the Gym and the Science Building was attacked from behind.  The suspect pushed the victim into the bushes, and beat her severely about the face.  The victim fought back, and the suspect fled on foot.  The victim feels that if she had not screamed loudly for help, her attacker may have sexually assaulted her.  On July 8, 1998, at 1:00 p.m., a female student was walking on the 300 block of Font Blvd in the Park Merced Apartment Complex when she was attacked from behind, and dragged into a near by parking garage.  When the woman screamed, the suspect released her and ran to his car which was parked nearby and fled.  On November 9, 1998 at 7:55 p.m., a female student was attacked by an unknown male suspect in the women's restroom on the fourth floor of Burk Hall.  The victim screamed, and after a brief struggle the suspect fled the ares. 
 
Suspect Description:  
  • dark-complected Hispanic, Asian, or Filipino male 
  • wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and baggy jeans 
  • early 20's 
  • 5' 6" 
  • thin build 
  • no facial hair 
Suspect Decription:  
  • Asian male, early 20's,  5' 7" 
  • medium build, hair parted in middle 
  • wearing silver rim glasses 
Suspect Vehicle  
  • dark colored Honda 
  • partial California license plate of, "3GXC" 
Suspect Description:  
  • Asian or Filipino male, possibly mixed-race 20's, medium complexion. 
  • Approximately 5' 5", 140lbs,, medium build. 
  • Wearing a dark blue sweatshirt, black pants, black baseball cap embroidered with www.gap.com, and gold-rimmed glasses. 
  • The suspect may have a cut on the bridge of his nose.
