The President’s Task Force on Accessible Electronic and Information Technology

On November 16, 2006, President Robert A. Corrigan appointed and charged a task force composed of key individuals throughout the university to examine the state of disability access to technology at SF State. The group was further charged to develop a transition plan that included policy recommendations and implementation procedures.

In accordance with the CSU Chancellor’s Office (CO) coded memorandum on the Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI), the task force accepted the charge and proceeded to develop implementation plans for the three areas of focus outlined in the coded memo, web accessibility, instructional materials accessibility and the procurement of accessible electronic and information technology.
