 SINGLE SUBJECT CREDENTIAL PROGRAM OPTIONS

At SFSU, we offer the following Program Options for earning the Single Subject Credential.

Two Semester Regular Program

We offer this program in both fall and spring semesters. Those with the subject area of Art, Foreign Language, Physical Education or Music are encouraged to apply for fall admission only, and will not be able to finish the program in two semesters with a spring semester start, due to the availability of Curriculum and Instruction courses.

Employed Teacher Intern Program

A four semester program held at the SFSU campus. All participants must be employed at least part-time as the teacher of record in their subject area and meet all internship credential requirements. All classes for the Employed Teacher Intern Program will be held after 4 p.m.
