Description: Operation, design, and calibration of atmospheric and oceanic monitoring instruments. Experience with instrument types, data processing, and techniques applied to problems in atmospheric pollution, global weather, and dynamical oceanography. Classwork, 1 unit; laboratory and fieldwork, 1 unit. (Also offered as OCN 470. May not be repeated under alternate prefix.)
