  • Coordinated business-training and economic development delegations from Russia as part of the Productivity Enhancement Program.
  • Worked with civic club volunteers to coordinate logistics for Russian delegations.
  • Developed program assessment documents for the Russian delegates.
  • Coordinated home-hosting program for Russian delegations.
  • Promoted cross-cultural relations and citizen diplomacy between Russia and the U.S.

U.S. State Department, American Embassy Paris
American Citizen Services Assistant, 2005

  • Drafted reporting cables for the ACS section of the Embassy.
  • Established contacts outside the Embassy with French and American government and law enforcement officials.
  • Reported to Washington on status of trials and American prisoners in France and their standing under French Law.
  • Worked with the French Foreign Ministry to improve consular notification for American detainees.
  • Assisted with the daily functions of the ACS section such as making passports and notarizing documents.
