Family PACT Enrollees:

  • If you are leaving the Bay Area for the summer, make sure you have enough prescription supplies of your preferred contraceptive method.  Remember that Family PACT is only good in California.
  • Wherever you are in California, you can go to any retail pharmacy (i.e. Walgreens, Savon, Rite-Aid), present your prescription container with its label, and they can call the SHS Pharmacy to have your prescription transferred (415-338-1710).  It is advisable to call the Pharmacy you are going to use to ensure that they accept Family PACT.
  • To locate a Family PACT provider in your area, call 1-800-942-1054.
  • If you are already enrolled, re-certify your Family PACT card before it expires.  Your card is active for one year from date of enrollment.  You can re certify by coming in to the SHS and seeing a Family PACT enroller.
