Form Your Vision Now and Build Your Future

Did you ever have a vision? Every successful person has a vision in one form or another. At first it may not seem so clear, but as you begin to plan your goals and rearrange them, the vision becomes clearer. This is true whether you are a scientist pursuing basic or applied research in university, industry, or government laboratories, or an individual working in the modern business world. Many of us have had such visions and an opportunity to pursue it. This year San Francisco State University is “Celebrating 100 Years of Opportunity, 1899-1999.” We would like to reach out to the younger generation who are high school students in the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades, to provide them this opportunity.

With the help of the College of Science and Engineering Alumni, we can work together with a little effort, to reach the high school students in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. Includes nine counties, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Napa, Sonoma, and Marin with a total of 360 high schools.

Please have your high school Chemistry, Biology, or Physics educators contact Eugene Fujinari (415-338-1722) if interested in his 20 minute class room presentation “Form Your Vision Now and Build Your Future.” Thursdays and Fridays are his high school visiting days. Many thanks for your help in our K-12 outreach from the College of Science and Engineering.  Please also visit the homepage of The Greater San Francisco Bay Area K-12 Science, Engineering & Mathematics Teacher's Forum.
