We will cover topics including: choosing programs, preparing and submitting applications, preparing writing samples, writing letters of application, getting recommendations, and planning the whole process.

The third annual meeting of the Southwest Seminar in Early Modern Philosophy will be held 23-24 February 2008 at San Francisco State University. Following the
model of similar seminars around the U.S. and Canada, the Southwest Seminar was formed to foster interaction among scholars who work on various topics in the history of early modern philosophy (a period ranging, roughly, from Montaigne to Kant).
