  MUNI LogoMetro Overhead Improvement Project

About the Project:

For approximately one year, Muni will be closing the West Portal and Forest Hill stations at 9pm, Monday to Friday. Riders should be aware that the last inbound and outbound trains will depart the Castro, Forest Hill and West Portal stations prior to 9pm.

Muni will offer a bus substitution service between the Van Ness and West Portal stations, running at roughly 6-minute intervals. Passengers can board buses at F-Market stops on Market Street between Van Ness and Noe streets, as well as outside of the Castro Street, Forest Hill and West Portal stations.

San Francisco State University and Zipcar has teamed up to offer a new service to the campus community. Zipcar will provide our communities self-service access to vehicles by the hour or day- 24/7/365. SFSU will provide convenient reserved parking for the Zipcars.

Membership fees are at a huge discount of $25.00 a year (up to $150 discount).
