San Francisco State University will host a job fair for Bay Area residents seeking careers in radio on April 25 from 4-8 p.m. in the Guest Center on the SFSU campus, 1600 Holloway Ave.
The "Radio Careers" job fair, sponsored by the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council, is open to all students and the general public.
Radio stations that will be recruiting include KABL-AM, KKSF-FM, KNEW-AM, KIOI-FM, KYLD-FM, KISQ-FM, KMEL-FM and the Katz Media Group.
The stations will be taking applications and collecting resumes for a full range of jobs in the radio industry, including reporters, news copy writers, producers, directors, engineers, programming and traffic directors, account and sales executives, promotions and public affairs representatives and administrative assistants. Brief interviews will be conducted.
