Yan Tao (Fanny) Mai, assistant director of financial services for University Housing, passed away on September 19 after a two-year battle with liver cancer. She was 44 years old. Mai worked at the University for more than eleven years. "She will be greatly missed by her colleagues," said Jan Andreasen, executive director of University Housing. Mai is survived by her parents, her husband, Feng Liao, and their two children Catherine and Jason. Condolences may be sent to Cristal Wallin at cwallin@housing.sfsu.edu.
